Always take your turmeric with black pepper. I honestly would not worry too much about turmeric and hepatotoxicity. But if you're worried about it, take magnesium. Magnesium is good for the liver AND improves digestion and pooping.

"Theracurmin" is water-soluble circumin which is supposed to be more bioavailable. They apparently tested it on lab rats. No experience with it myself.

Green tea causes nausea in lots of people, myself included. Try cutting it out and see if the nausea goes away! Quick fix. Almonds and other nuts can also easily cause digestive distress in some people. It doesn't necessarily mean that you have a... (more)

If all you're taking is a tip of a teaspoon, you're probably not getting anything at all because of the poor bioavailability of whole turmeric.

Warm compress will help with the sty. My doc suggested a black tea bag to do the trick. Just make sure it's not too hot. I've been dealing with a lot of red-eye lately and aspirin has been doing wonders for redness.
