Does it have to be in one bar? I would think Lara Bars would give you the carbs you need and jerky would give you the protein you need. Or you could make your own pemmican bars (which sound like a lot of work for something that doesn't seem too... (more)

Research shows that sprint interval training can increase endurance capacity, so it can benefit your ultramarathon performance while minimizing inflammation, oxidative stress, and cardiovascular damage. I'd use more SIT than long, steady efforts... (more)

Whilst not an ultra marathoner - my housemate just completed his third marathon; but his first on Paleo! He got a PB and had so much energy! He read quite a lot of Nell Stephenson, as she is a Paleo athlete with lots of great advice. Good luck! (more)
