I does still taste good with butter rather than coconut oil (it is cocoa powder and butter...how can you lose?) The texture is different, however. When you make it with butter it softer. I like to combine coconut oil and butter when I make it.... (more)

Is it cultured butter? Lactic acid is what forms when a bacterial culture digests lactose...they eat the lactose and excrete lactic acid.
