Started Paleo in Nov 2010 when I was 5'9" 165 lbs 32" waist. Started out by just cutting out flour and sucrose (having never heard of paleo), but soon stumbled onto panu and took on that approach (including switch to archevore and increase in starch).

I was pretty strict, but used to fall off the wagon for a 1-3 day period every couple months, but decided in Nov 2012 to stop falling off the wagon altogether. Around then I also started carb backloading.

Now it's Jan 2013 and I'm 5'9" 153 lbs 28" waist and 14.4% bodyfat (DEXA). Feel great. No more bloating, gas, constipation. I'm now much better at stopping eating when I'm satiated and not snacking when I'm not hungry (though I struggled with both of these before paleo). I also used to get occasional minor acne, which seems to be gone. And I seem to get sick less often, and when I do get sick, it seems to be less sever.

I eat pretty strict paleo plus occasional cheese. I usually skip breakfast, do a mediums-sized lunch without starchy carbs and then a big dinner with starch. I lift heavy weights (following Mark Reippetoe's Starting Strengh) a few times a week, do intervals (sprint 8 on elliptical) a couple times a week and take 1-2 hour walks whenever I can fit in into my schedule.

Now my biggest health struggle is how to avoid preaching about paleo to the non-believers, but I can live with that.
