I was your typical high school softball girl (~140lbs)...a little husky but not really over weight since I played ball year round. I was never a huge fan of fast food until I met my ex-husband...yes he forced burgers and fries down my throat (j/k)! Well, before I knew it 3 or 4 years down the road I was extremely overweight. It took me several years of living in denial but it finally hit me. I was in my late 20's and tipping the scale at ~250lbs. I decided to start counting calories and jogging. I hit the local gym a few times a week and a couple of years later I was down to ~190lbs. It was extremely hard and I was often dissapointed at missing my goals. I got bored, started teetering back and forth from 190lbs to 200lbs. I yearned for something challenging in my life, then I was introduced to Crossfit and Paleo. By this time I was 30 years old. At my lowest weight with super strict paleo and Crossfit, I got down to 165lbs. I felt great, never stopped excersising and thought that I could start eating whatever I wanted again. WRONG! I am now back up to almost 200lbs and I am currently back on strict paleo. I have forgotten how good it feels to be paleo. My joints were beginning to bother me again and I was constantly hurting myself in a WOD. So, here we are today...on yet another weight loss journey and a forever paleo life!
