I started "Paleo" for the second time on September 16, 2013. I say "Paleo" because I'm not exactly the strictest follower currently. I've I can keep dairy and gluten out of my diet I'm happy, but I am known to sneak in some starchy veggies, legumes, and gluten-free a few times a week and don't see too much of a problem with that.
When I chose to do "Paleo", I made the decision as a way to feel better about how I treat my body. I maybe had 10 lbs that I could lose, so weight loss wasn't really a motivator (but definitely a plus!). I truly just want to be better to my body and feel good about how I am choosing to live. I've noticed that monitoring what fuel I am taking in has made me more self-aware in all aspects of my life, and that's a beautiful thing!
