I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes, hypothyroidism, obesity and PCOS last year and was given a host of medications. Over the past few months, I've phased out sugar and starch and rely on natural foods to sustain me and my health has improved. I also hike, ride a bike and do hatha yoga and weight lifting/strength training in the bits of free time I have. Since I teach at a private English school, I work long hours, but do what I can when possible. I didn't intend to go paleo from the start, but this works for me.UPDATE: I'm now a full-time college student in the US again, trying to adjust to living in a small American city.
