Back after a year of falling off the wagon. Acne still an issue, so have been eating whole foods for the last 30-odd days, staying away from: cigarettes, dairy, sugar, caffeine and gluten. Have gotten a lot better but want to see if I can completely clear up. Will slowly ease into the autoimmune protocol: no nuts, seeds, nightshades, gluten and potential gluten cross-reactive foods, and alcohol (but I'm already a teetotaler) while still staying away from my original 5. A little worried, because I will achingly miss eggs and rice.
