I've done paleo for 2 years and went from 23% bodyfat to 35% bodyfat. I didn't cheat. I ate 1400 cals a day. I exercised 3 times a week with HIIT. I got plenty of sleep. I did everything I was supposed to do. (I really don't think 2 glasses of wine a week made me this fat). I still believe this diet is ideal for some people, but obviously, it isn't ideal for me.
