Cutting carbs makes all the sense in the world if you're obese, and on the edge of insulin resistance, if not outright diabetic. If you're not obese there's less incentive to cut carbs. Carbs are easy to digest, and get to the bloodstream... (more)

There are other ways of losing weight other than VLC. Some people disagree with this, but I firmly believe that calories in do matter overall. VLC makes it easier to eat less and there is possibly a small metabolic advantage (not sure about this... (more)
