i think downvoting is fine, if i did have a problem with it what i might do is give people predefined possible reasons for downvotes -spam -troll -vulgarity and require them to check one before submit, will make people reassess if... (more)

Possible Duplicate: [Meta] Why anonymity, paleohacks? I'm not sure how easy it is to implement visible voting on this forum software but I for one would like to know who it is that votes up or down. I can only see benefit from every... (more)

My spidey-sense has detected a slight change in paleohacks voting patterns. There appears to be a similar number of votes for answers and comments, but fewer for questions. Is this true? Look at the twelve most recent questions. Only two of them... (more)

I know I've hit a limit before, but I have no idea how many it is, and I didn't see this information in the FAQ or through searching. How many upvotes are we allowed to give each day?

Hi, If someone votes you down or you lose reputation because of something you've said either due to incorrect information or being off topic etc, how do we know why? While I totally agree that the voting should be anonymous, it might be helpful... (more)

Don't worry, you can't do anything right in "the favored Top 20" they'll down vote you for speaking your mind or having an opinion. They're just stupid numbers made to make you feel elite or inadequate. They're just on power trips. Like any gives... (more)

We have a ridiculous number of upvotes to use every day, yet I see popular questions that haven't broken ten votes, with dozens of answers unsorted by voting. If a thread is interesting enough for me to click through to, I'll upvote it. If there... (more)

When i post a question, i upvote the answers that address my question (obvious one there i hope). But, i will also make sure that everyone that takes the time to answer has at least one vote. So if no one else upvotes them, i will... (more)

I recently, in a fit of reactionary emotion, downvoted an answer. I immediately thought better of it, and wanted to put it back to how it was. I was left with the choice of upvoting or downvoting, so I chose the former, since I thought it was... (more)

I've looked all over and can't find an answer to this. How do you vote on a question's merit? EDIT (by Patrik): I am glad this question was asked as I want to encourage all PaleoHackers to use all of their votes on a daily basis. You have 30... (more)
