I guess is because once you don't eat too much carbs, you lose water from the muscles at the beginning. I think you should drink more water. But i'm not an expert, sorry.

BPA-free alternatives aren't better than BPA really. They're just less tested. BPA itself is not that bad, there's not a whole lot of good evidence against it.

Maybe you need more salt, potassium, and other stuff you lose through sweat. Maybe your body is conserving these things and will sweat more if you have more water and electrolytes... Ever track your nutrients?

I've found that the best way to alleviate dehydration headaches is by drinking pure water (no salt or electrolytes added) and eating some potassium-rich foods. Potassium balances out sodium in the body.
