As much as I loathe Dr. Oz, I thought this was interesting: http://www.doctoroz.com/videos/miracle-fat-burner-bottle Just wondering if anyone has tried it and whether it was helpful for them.

Eh, the writer kind of lost my attention after I read this sentence:

"This compound regulates adiponectin, a hormone that causes your body too boost metabolism."

I got too distracted by the improper use of "too" in that sentence and consequently, I find it less credible.

Why bother? Just take either MCT oil or extra virgin Coconut oil.

So is Oz attempting to be the next Alton Brown? :) Balloons and liquid nitrogen? Really?

Wikipedia has this to say:

When given to mice in very high doses (up to 2% of food intake), raspberry ketone has been shown to prevent high-fat-diet-induced elevations in body weight.[8] However, no effects on body weight were observed with doses up to 200 times greater than the estimated intake in humans.[9] The high dose effect is reported to stem from the alteration of lipid metabolism, increasing norepinephrine-induced lipolysis. Although products containing this compound are marketed for weight loss, there is no clinical evidence for this effect in humans.
