I find grapefruit to be very satiating at the end of a meal, but only if I eat it like an orange (i.e., peel and eat the slices directly) rather than eating it sliced open with a grapefruit spoon. I'm guessing this is because it is not that high... (more)

I keep getting the suggestion to only eat when you're hungry. However, this can be a burden when it comes to my family's schedule. I have 2 kids (3 year old and 5 month old) who both go to bed around 7-7:30pm, but probably don't settle down until... (more)

Sometimes I will just sit down with my husband and have a cup of tea and chat while they eat if I am not eating what they are eating or I am fasting.
