Are High intensity bodyweight circuit training (i.e, squats,burpee,lunges) more effective in losing fat, building muscles or both? How about sustaining muscle so no muscle loss?

Lots of ways to lower cortisol PWO through supplementation. Vitamin C, Glycine, Phosphatidyl Serine, etc... Personally I use Vitamin C. Great as an anti-oxidant PWO, and helps reduce the cortisol spike. 1-2g works great for me. (more)

Personally, I think you should look at other causes. A coffee at 11 am is hardly going to affect your sleep, an ensuing workout.. not very likely. Stress and worries are way more effective at keeping a person awake. I presume your bedroom is up... (more)

Swimming is a great exercise. How intensely can you swim? Your body will be affected the same way when you "sprint" when you swim compared to running. Look at olympic swimmers! They're in amazing shape.

Decrease the frequency and/or the intensity of the workouts. Sleep is your friend. A bit of stress can hinder weightloss.
